Mother Plant was inspired by trips to Huntington Garden where I often see a variety of aloe plants growing. I have found a kinship with these plants as they seemed to “mother” so many pups while continuing themselves to bloom and grow.
Hair and braiding play a big role in my life as a mother and that is represented in one of the “blooms” on the aloe plant.
